Vent Line Filter

This filter is used to capture dust particles that are normally vented to the atmosphere when a silo or receiving tank is filled pneumatically. The centrifuge process of the cyclone separator, incorporated in the filters lower body below the filter inlet, allows the product to fall out of the product/air stream by gravity.

The conveyance air is then filtered through the fine filter bag section, located above the cyclone separator, before it is released to the atmosphere. Product particles are captured and returned, when the filter is purged, for proper storage and use. The result is a safe working environment, protecting personnel and equipment, with no product loss or pollution.

The PDC Vent Line filter and the PDC Ashing filter operate without the use of electricity or high pressure air. The units also operate without moving parts. Both units are portable. ASME certified filters are available for offshore use.

Note: This is a closed loop filter. The filter operates without use of an ID fan. It utilizes cfm and air pressure that transfer products pneumatically. The vented air and the displaced air used are filtered in the transfer process. The filter removes the fines from the air stream and holds them until purging. Reversing the airflow through the filter cleans the bags and returns collected fines to storage.
